HYUNDAI KONA RECEIVED AN AWARD IN THE FRAMEWORK OF " TOPGEAR ELECTRIC”

Kona Electric received the title " Best Small Family Car "in the inaugural"TopGear Electric" awards. The test session, conducted by the editor-in-chief of BBC TopGear magazine, Charlie Turner, took place in December 2019 and ran for 24 hours.

The European fast charging network was used to power Kona Electric, and the car was 80% charged to maximize driving time. It was completed over a distance of 1,600 kilometers and crossed a total of 9 countries: the Czech Republic, where the launch took place, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, France, Luxembourg, Belgium and the Netherlands.
