The German automaker has released a new version of the hybrid plug-in for the Grandland x SUV. With a single electric motor connected to petrol and front-wheel drive, it has a maximum autonomy of 57 kilometers.
Having received a plug-in hybrid version with a petrol engine, two electric units and all-wheel drive in the middle of this year, the Opel Grandland X now offers customers another option that is convenient for the environment.
This time, the hybrid system consists of a 1.6-liter gasoline unit that develops 180 horsepower and an 81 kW electric drive that jointly develops 224 horsepower and 360 Nm of torque. The traction is on the front axle, and the transmission offers an eight-speed automatic transmission.
In these conditions, hundreds of miles per hour are reached in 8.9 seconds, and the top speed is 225 km / h. the New Grandland X Hybrid comes with three driving modes: electric, hybrid, and sports.
The 13.2 kWh battery allows the German SUV to drive up to 57 kilometers without consuming a drop of gasoline. Opel claims that charging the battery to 100% takes less than two hours if a 7.4 kW wallbox is used.
