The Italian carmaker has now published all the details about Rome, the new grand tourer released in Maranello. It hides a 3.9-liter two-cylinder V8 engine under the hood.
The new fashion among supercar builders appears to be the development of a car that is more of a GT (Grand Tourer). McLaren introduced a model called the Simple GT to the world, and now the Italians of Ferrari have decided to compete by releasing Rome.
The official launch took place last month, but the brand only told about all the details of the complete sets. Starting from the interior and exterior design, which emphasizes, as I said above, utility, luxury and refinement, the new Ferrari Roma also has some elements characteristic of a sports car.
The engine, as usual, is part of new technologies. Engineers equipped the new Rome with a 3.9-liter V8 engine. It has twin-screw turbines, a particle filter in accordance with Euro 6D standards, a single-component exhaust manifold and a sensor that measures the rotation of the turbine spindle and allows you to increase the maximum rotation per minute by 5000.
Under these conditions, the V8 drive develops 620 horsepower, 760 Nm of torque and, according to Ferrari. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h occurs in 3.4 seconds, and up to 200 km / h in 9.3 seconds. It stops at 320 km / h.
